Ikon Eastside announces its fourth season in Birmingham’s Eastside Regeneration project with a new exhibition space in Digbeth. Launching with the Soi Project, a collective of artists, designers and architects from Bangkok and Tokyo, the new exhibition space will accommodate film, video, sculpture and installation. The Soi Project ‘Island’ will create a major new installation of an imaginary tropical resort loosely based on the Google Earth depiction of an idyllic island off the coast of Thailand.
Ikon Eastside feature new work by artists from all over the world and
collaborations with Birmingham’s most dynamic cultural organisations.
Ikon Eastside opens on 27th May on Fazeley Street, Digbeth.
