The current Olympic fever of the Beijing games is gripping the country at the moment and to celebrate the handover to London photographer Rankin has lent his signature style to the ‘Coca-Cola’ iconic glass bottle by creating an exclusive, limited edition bottle.
Famed for his portraiture photography of A-list celebrities, as well as iconic Londoners such as the Queen and Tony Blair, Rankin’s striking interpretation for the ‘Coca-Cola’ bottle is set to be a coveted and rare collectible, with only a limited number available to buy at London’s Selfridges.
Rankin’s stunning bottle joins an illustrious list of artists and designers who have lent their own interpretations to the iconic ‘Coca-Cola’ original glass bottle, including Andy Warhol, Sir Peter Blake, Manolo Blahnik and Matthew Williamson.
The ‘Coca-Cola’ London 2012 limited edition Rankin bottle is available from Selfridges, London, from 21st August 2008 and is priced at £1.99.
