Angel Row Gallery Closing Party this Saturday

After 16 years as Nottingham’s main contemporary art space Angel Row Gallery is closing to make way for the new Centre of Contemporary Art Nottingham (CCAN), which opens in 2008.

Ellie Harrison has been commissioned to make a special interactive work for the closing party to celebrate the 254 exhibitions which have taken place at the gallery over its lifetime. She has compiled a jukebox featuring all the #1 hits which coincide with the opening of each of these exhibitions.

The closing party also features a commission by Alexander Stevenson involving over 1000 cup cakes, which visitors can help themselves to!
