Jazz up your bank holiday weekend. This fresh and funky event featuring live Hip Hop, jazz and leftfield follows in the footsteps of Town Hall Birmingham’s legendary all-night sessions. Beats, treats and vintage funk pay homage to the lively marathon concerts of the 1950s and 60s, which featured world-renowned jazz artists such as Dizzy Gillespie, Count Basie and Humphrey Lyttelton.
A whole host of artists including Ralph Lamb, Andy Ross and local boy Chris Bowden command the decks and promise a night of turntable trickery, melodies laced with pure soul and funked up rhythms. Ollie Teeba and Jake Wheery team up with stunning vocalist Jessica Darling and five-piece band and will keep you dancing well into the early hours.
