New all-female artists’ collective Strange Ways presents its inaugural event Cheapside Show – an art project in response to the Cheapside area in Digbeth, Birmingham.

The Strange Ways consist of Annette Bowery, Elena Cassidy-Smith, Harmeet Chagger-Khan, Avril Elward, Helen Grundy, Angel Stripe, Fung Ye Tsang and Sharon Walford –
“We are interested in engaging and attracting new audiences who may not encounter art on a daily basis for cultural, social or geographic reasons. We are linked by a common philosophy rather than common types of artwork. This gives us a coherent identity but ensures our work is diverse and interesting.”

Their show opens on the Monday 1st July at 6pm and runs until Saturday 12th July.
